Florida Keys Vacation

The countdown has officially started for our vacation - 1 month! I can't wait to get done with my summer classes and head down to the Florida Keys with Lucas. We are staying at Hawks Cay Resort - I plan on laying by the pool, reading books that have nothing to do with Public Administration, and drinking fruity cocktails.

Fire & Flavor

Have you ever heard of Fire & Flavor? Well it is an Athens-based company started by a cute couple, who just happen to be UGA alums! We went by their warehouse the other day, and they generously gave us one of their cookbooks, Gourmet Made Simple! I have been trying to cook lately, and I love the recipes in this cookbook.

I can't wait to try some of the recipes like: cucumber feta salsa, apple parmesan and mixed green salad with mustard vinaigrette, and rosemary white bean soup. Yum! Check out their other great products here.

The World's Reaction to Landon Donovan's Game Winning Goal

This was our reaction exactly - USA USA USA!!! The team was so resilient. I'm so proud!

I Won! I Won!

I have been entering giveaways on A Cup Of Jo for years - and I can't believe I actually won! Beyond excited because I am a huge fan of snail mail :) These sweet pink and mint note cards are by Paper + Cup and courtesy of Felt & Wire. THANKS!

Check out Music Philosophy, a fun project that combines art and music lyrics:

The website has t-shirts available - I love the choice of song lyrics!
