March in SF

San Francisco is experiencing a huge drought, which we all know is a bad thing. Buuuuut I have to admit that I've really enjoyed the warm, dry weather this winter. The weather this weekend was incredible and we spent the entire weekend soaking up the sun and reveling in the fact that we live in the best city in the world.
We had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday at Jane on Fillmore. It's quickly becoming my favorite breakfast spot in SF. The lattes are out-of-this-world good and the food is light but delicious. I recommend the granola (above) and the quiche of the day - yesterday's was turkey, gruyere, and rosemary. It's always busy but the wait isn't nearly as long as some of the other popular brunch spots in SF. A bonus is that the interior is really cool. Think: cool wallpaper and cozy chairs.
On Saturday afternoon, we visited the Ferry Building farmers market, which is one of our favorite thing to do on weekends. We stopped for sandwiches at Blue Fog and then went to meet our friends at Fort Mason. It was insanely crowded - there were so many people hanging outside. We brought Spike Ball, which got pretty competitive (we lost).
We capped off the weekend by paying a visit to our friends, Derek and Lena, and their sweet baby, Charlie. We visited them a month ago and I can't believe how much he's grown since then. We kept joking that Charlie is experiencing new best moments ever all the time - Sunday was the best weather he's ever experienced in his entire life, he went to the first picnic he's ever been on, and he was pooped on by a bird for the first time ever (poor Charlie!). Can't get enough of that sweet baby and isn't Lena the cutest mom ever?

Hope you all had an amazing weekend. xoxo
