Wedding on Ruffled
Our wedding was featured on Ruffled last week, which was such a sweet surprise. Head over to Ruffled to read about our inspirations, vendors, and wedding day, if you'd like. :)
Boom: We're Married!
We're officially married y'all! Our wedding was on November 9, 2013, and it was an absolute blast. It was so incredible to be surrounded by our friends and loved ones. Thank you to everyone who made it such an incredible day. Our amazing photographer, Caroline Fontenot, sent over this sneak peak. We can't wait to share more soon! Now -- back to blogging...
My Holidays: 2012
I had a holiday break filled with non-stop family time, which was amazing and refreshing! We played board games, ate great food, and knocked out several wedding planning duties. Incredibly grateful for my friends and the two wonderful families in my life. Here are a few of the highlights...
Having a sleepover with my BFF:
Visiting Lucas's family in Wilmington and taking long walks on Wrightsville Beach with the pups:

Visiting with our sweet niece, Kaya, which was such a joy:

Thanksgiving Holiday
My friends, I'd love to share a few photos from my trip home to Georgia for Thanksgiving, if you'd like to see.
Thanksgiving Day was a great time to catch up with my family. As with all great family gatherings, we ate entirely too much and spent the rest of the day relaxing. We had lunch together and then spent the rest of the day catching up and watching football...we even busted out our corn hole set. The highlight of the day is that I got the chance to hang out with my niece-pup, Lucy, who fits right in with my crazy family.

On Saturday we headed to Athens for the UGA vs. GT game, where we had the chance to catch up with old college friends. It was freezing but fun nonetheless!
I had some quality BFF-time with Kristina on Sunday afternoon. We all went by Vinewood to scope it out, to Serenbe to check out a few rehearsal dinner spots, and then to a wedding tasting. It's nice to get a lot of wedding planning done while we're home!
Miss you already, Georgia.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!
I'm heading back to Georgia for the Thanksgiving holidays and am so excited to spend some time with friends and family. Here are a few things on the to-do list:
-Thanksgiving lunch with my family followed by our traditional trip to the movies (my vote is for Lincoln)
-Black Friday shopping with my mama
-A mini-reunion with college friends to see UGA vs. GT, the annual football game dubbed "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate" :)
-Two wedding tastings (we've narrowed it down to two caterers and are deciding this week)
-A trip to our wedding venue so that Kristina and Lucas can see it
-Snuggling by the fireplace, hot chocolate, and food!
Have a wonderful holiday! XO
Google Reveals State Stereotypes
This is hilarious. Google autocorrect reveals common state stereotypes. Apparently Georgia is so hot, racist, boring, and stupid while California is liberal, broke, anti-gun, and expensive. Sounds about right. Check out your state!
Georgia/Florida Game

Kristina turns twenty. Hoorah!
Plus Kristina is turning twenty! She is dressing up as a cat.
GO DAWGS! Ha.
